Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data bestsportsbettingdiscord.com ("we", "us") processes, why, and the rights you have. What we collect

We collect very little. There are no accounts, forms, comment boxes or newsletter sign-ups on this site.

• Server logs: our hosting provider (Netlify) records technical data for each request, such as IP address, browser user agent, page requested and time. These are used to keep the site secure and working and are kept for a short period set by the host.
• Email: if you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include, and use it only to reply.

Lawful basis

We process server logs on the basis of our legitimate interests in running a secure website (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). We process emails you send on the basis of legitimate interests in responding to you.

Affiliate links and Whop

When you click a "Join on Whop" link you leave this site. The link carries a referral code that tells Whop the visit came from us. Whop then processes your data as an independent controller under its own privacy policy. We receive commission reports from Whop; we do not receive your name, email or payment details.

Cookies and analytics

We do not currently set any non-essential cookies or use analytics or advertising trackers. See the cookie policy for details. If that changes, we will ask for your consent first and update this policy.

Sharing and transfers

We do not sell personal data. Our hosting provider processes server logs on our behalf and may do so outside the UK, including in the United States; where it does, transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or the UK–US data bridge.

How long we keep it

Server logs are kept only as long as our host retains them for security purposes. Emails are kept for up to two years after our last exchange, then deleted.

Your rights (UK and EEA)

You have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to our processing of your personal data, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email contact@bestsportsbettingdiscord.com. We will respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

California residents (CCPA/CPRA)

In the last 12 months we have collected identifiers (IP address) and internet activity (pages requested) via server logs, and any information you send us by email, for the security and correspondence purposes described above.

We do not sell or share personal information, as those terms are defined in the California Consumer Privacy Act, and we do not use sensitive personal information. You have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to request its deletion or correction, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. This site is for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
